Celebrating remarkable impact
In 2025, The Honours returned to spotlight individuals whose work extends far beyond yacht decks and harbours. Our judging panel selected honourees whose contributions have broadened perspectives, inspired communities, and set new benchmarks for meaningful influence in and around the superyacht world.

Meet The Honourees 2025
ANGELA ABSHIER
Angela Abshier didn’t grow up anywhere near the sea. Raised between Arkansas and Wyoming, she always felt like a “water girl” without ever seeing much of it. Her path to the ocean and sailing yachts wasn’t direct – it was built on curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of textiles.
FRANCISCA CORTÉS SOLARI
Chilean philanthropist and ocean advocate Francisca Cortés Solari has built her life around one mission: to protect the planet she loves. A mother of three and a passionate believer in the power of science and education, she has spent more than two decades driving sustainable change across Chile.
ROSIE O'DONNELL
For Rosie O’Donnell, the sea has always been home. Born in Cornwall, she grew up exploring rivers, woods and coastlines, developing the independence and curiosity that would shape her life. After stints in Canada and Saudi Arabia, Rosie returned to Cornwall and discovered sailing as a way to see the world.
